LEGAL INFORMATION

Acceptable use policy

Use DataRead responsibly, respect rights in the data you process, and verify product outputs before relying on them.

Scope: This policy applies to use of the informational website and, where incorporated into the final licence, the DataRead software. The final EULA and applicable law control where required.

1. Lawful data use

Use DataRead only with data you own or are authorised to access, process, transform, analyse and export. Respect privacy, confidentiality, intellectual-property, contractual and regulatory obligations that apply to your data.

2. Prohibited conduct

  • Do not use the software or website for fraud, identity theft, harassment, unlawful surveillance or other unlawful activity.
  • Do not process personal or confidential information without a valid legal basis, permission and safeguards where required.
  • Do not bypass licensing, access restrictions or security controls.
  • Do not distribute malware, disrupt the website or attempt unauthorised access to hosting or other services.
  • Do not misrepresent model results, benchmarks, product capabilities or roadmap ideas.
  • Do not redistribute paid editions or licence credentials without permission.
  • Do not send confidential datasets, passwords, payment data or API keys to support.

3. Output review

You are responsible for validating cleaned data, analytical interpretations, machine-learning outputs and exported files before relying on them. A statistical relationship does not establish causation, and model performance is not a guarantee of future results.

4. Security reports

Report suspected security issues using the verified security contact once one has been published. Do not include passwords, private keys or unnecessary personal data. Security contact: [SECURITY EMAIL].

5. Publisher and effective date

Publisher: [LEGAL OWNER NAME]; effective date: [DATE]. Complete and review this policy before public launch.
